Bio

     Matthew is an emergent actor, experienced in theater, standup comedy, voiceover and film acting.  Matthew is constantly working on student film projects, gaining experience from a variety of directors. On stage, Matthew has played several well-known roles, such as FDR in ‘Annie,’ Boris Kolenkhov in ‘You Can’t Take it With You,’ even Lieutenant Brannigan in ‘Guys and Dolls.’

     Matthew has received extensive training from Chey Sanders, Denny Sevier at workshops in Denver.  Included in his training is work on scene reading, character development, cold read, and on camera workshops. Recently, he has begun to take classes with Debrah Lemen Acting Studio, coached by Deborah Lemen herself.

     Most recently, Matthew was cast as the principle in a surrealist office drama “Another Day Down,” directed by Josh Hill, playing the melancholy cubicle jockey, LT. Matthew was also cast, for the second time by Jessica Furlong, as the principle in her growing pains tale “Roots.”

     Matthew is the middle child in a family of five boys.  He knows… “his poor mother.”  Matthew is also an Eagle Scout with Boy Scouts of America.  He and his wife are both creatives, his wife Emily, graduating with a culinary degree.  His cat, Cal, is… is just the worst.  Matthew enjoys oil painting, writing and reading novels and short stories and watching movies and TV shows.  He looks forward to winning an Oscar in the next generation defining film, as a supporting actor of course, as well as performing alongside any production opposite Tom Hiddleston... Or Travis Fimmel.
